Great to see some malls that are still thriving and offer a variety of options to shop and dine. They do also offer decent prices and you can find some good values in their sales. Most of the people working there seemed friendly and didn't feel like they hated to be there. We will definitely return and I recommend using apps to order ahead for their food places and Starbucks. They tend to get very busy and have long lines. Plenty of parking and lots to see.

Always a good time at The Shops at Mission Viejo. There's a good selection of shops to shop from. I also like the Dining Veranda options as well as the restaurants located at the mall. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but I like to come when I'm nearby. There are a lot of free parking lots so no problem with parking, I like to park in the parking structures so my car is shady and not hot by the time I get back. Everyone at the mall is friendly. The inside is casual yet modern, they keep up with the times. Even on the weekends it doesn't get super packed and busy which is nice.

Nice to see a mall that's still hanging on. Well at least most of it is. Only has three anchors and two are Macy's. One is a very sad looking store, entire sections were empty (some even partitioned off) and it looked like on the verge of shuttering. Macy's also oddly has a second smaller store with menswear, children's clothes and their backstage. This one is nicer but useless for shoes or women's clothes. The area between the two Macy's is also struggling. However past that is a lovely food court, multiple restaurants and some really nice stores. The Nordstrom is what you'd expect and there's a Williams Sonoma and RH on that side.
